Free new iPhone app, BodyWise, to track all the metrics

A new app for the iPhone has been released today promising to track over 40 different areas of your health and fitness.

BodyWise will track from the things we often ignore like water or alcohol intake, to the usual suspects such as a calories, weight or even bicep measurements.

The app’s founders, Michael Halligan (a marketing guy) and David Banks (a personal trainer) say they wanted to build an app that tracked areas of your wellbeing that other apps neglected.

“In short, BodyWise helps you to see a more complete picture of your exercise, sleep habits, mood and nutrition — and ultimately, improve your health & fitness over time.”

 – David Banks

BodyWise will also work with your body data from the Nike Fuelband, Fitbit and Jawbone UP wristband, so the app appears to be the ultimate dashboard we have all been waiting for. We’ll wait and see how it goes through testing, however it looks promising.

The app is available today. It’s free, so give it a try!
