Health 2.0 Europe 2014

iHealth: The Real Future of Connected Health

Another interesting talk from the Health 2.0 Europe event from Uwe Diegel, the European head of iHealth (which you can see our reviews of their devices here). Uwe discussed how most of the connected health communications, developments and innovations are geared towards young and trendy geeks who do not necessarily need them.

iHealth believes that access to health care should be available to all and has therefore developed a new generation of connected devices that are really made for patient and disease management. Uwe explains that he wants iHealth devices to be accessible to 100% of people and goes on to introduce ‘iHealth Discovery’, the next generation of Connected Health devices.

Very interesting discussion and sheds a lot of light on the iHealth strategy moving forward.
